How Much is Delivery

FREE! That's right. As part of our commitment to ensuring excellent customer service, we cover all standard shipping costs. Standard shipping includes Package Carrier items (smaller items like most chairs and some desks) to loading docks for businesses or your front door for residential, and also includes tailgate delivery (heavier items like heavy duty chairs or large desks/tables) to your loading dock. For heavier items being delivered to a residential address or a location without a loading dock, you as the customer would be responsible for taking the furniture off the truck and into your building. That's unless of course you decide to add a liftgate or inside delivery service. If you decide you need additional or add-on delivery services (as discussed below in the Delivery Methods section), there would be additional fees that you'd incur.  

 

Delivery Methods

Depending on the size and weight of the product(s) you order, they may require a specific delivery method or additional service. To make it simple for you, we've laid out each one clearly on our Delivery Methods page so that you can easily decide if you'll be needing additional services (i.e Threshold or Room of Choice Delivery). If you find yourself needing any additional services, all you have to do is call (800 232-8109) or email (sales@officepinnacle.com) us and we'll happily do our best to take care of the back-end logistics. Just remember, these additional services may incur additional fees. 

 

Timing of Order Shipment & Delivery

Most inventoried products on our site will usually ship within 1-2 business days from the date of purchase. However, extended lead times may occur when ordering custom furniture or made-to-order products. Custom or made-to order products (these would be manufacturers on our website such as Nightingale, Allseating, and Wyatt Seating) can take 2-6 weeks (depending on the product and customization done) just to manufacture the product before it even hits the road. From there, actual delivery of your product can take up 5-7 business days.

Price Match

We work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online. If you find another online store that offers a lower price than us within six months of your purchase date, please let us know and we will refund your original payment for the difference. We want you to feel confident that you are ubdoubtedly getting the absolute best price for the product you are ordering. If you find that our own website has a lower price for the same item you have ordered within six months of your purchase date, we’ll refund the difference as well.

 

To request your partial refund simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitors’ website within six months from the date of your order and we will process the credit accordingly.

Nightingale Warranty Information:

At Nightingale, we’re proud of what we make, and we stand behind our products. Our Lifetime Limited Warranty applies to products manufactured after Jan. 1st, 2016 that have been delivered to customers in Canada and the US.

The warranty begins with the date of purchase from the Nightingale dealer by the original purchaser. Under this warranty, all claims must be made within the time period specified:

  • Lifetime limited: All non-moving metal parts.
  • 10 years: Control mechanisms, casters, pneumatic cylinders, self-skinned urethane parts and plastic shells.
  • Five years: Upholsteries.

The warranty is based on normal use within a normal commercial office setting of single shift, eight hours per day, five days per week, by individuals weighing 250-350 pounds depending on model.

Some natural variations occurring in wood, leather, or other natural materials are inherent to their character and are not considered defects. Nightingale Corp. does not warrant the colorfastness or matching of colors, grains, or textures of these materials. Additionally, a Customer’s Own Material (COM) selected by, and used at the request of, a customer, is not warranted.

The Warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear over the course of ownership.

• Damage caused by abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence.

• Abnormal use or use within extreme climatic conditions. Normal climatic condition is defined as the temperature and moisture content range for human comfort and health.

• Alterations to or modifications of the product not approved by Nightingale Corp.

• Products not installed, used, or maintained in accordance with product instructions and warnings.

• Products used for rental purposes; and,

• Damage caused by the carrier-in-transit, which is handled under separate terms.

The NIGHTINGALE Warranty does not cover the cost of transportation or labor, except as noted.

All Warranty claims must be submitted by the Nightingale Dealer that sold the product.

Nightingale Corp. reserves the exclusive and sole right to determine whether a NIGHTINGALE seating product is defective in material or workmanship.

In order for Nightingale Corp. to determine whether the Warranty applies, the following information must be supplied to Nightingale Customer Care:

• Original Purchase Order and Purchase Order Date.

• Nightingale Corp. Invoice Number and Invoice Date.

• Product Model Number.

• Reason for claim.

• Please note that Nightingale Corp. may also require that photographs be supplied, clearly depicting the defective part or product. Nightingale reserves the right to deny any Warranty claim that does not include photographs when requested.

Should a Warranty claim be approved by Nightingale, then Nightingale will issue a Warranty Ticket Number to that claim. Nightingale Corp. will then, at its exclusive and sole discretion, apply one of the following remedies:

1. Issue replacement parts only, at no charge and prepaid freight. The cost of transportation and labor is not covered.
